That is correct.This is because a square has all the elements a rhombus has.A rhombus has 4 equal sides,just like a square does.And,a rhombus can't always be a square becase a square also contains 4 equal angles,while a rhombus doesn't.

Rhombuses are a type of parallelogram, which means their opposite sides are always parallel, and their opposite angles are always equal. A square is the only type of rhombus where all four angles are equal, and the only rhombus that also meets the definition of a rectangle (all angles are 90 degrees).

My basketball team plays four games per week. During the first four weeks, we lost all 16 of our games. During week 5, we won th
riadik2000 [5.3K]

Answer:

You need 30 total weeks to win at least 65% games

Step-by-step explanation:

Team have played = 20 games

Number of winning games = 3

Let x represents the number of additional weeks.

You have won 3 games per week. Therefore you will win 3x additional games.

We know that 65% = 0.65

Therefore,

3+3x/20+4x = 0.65

By cross multiplication:

3+3x= 0.65(20+4x)

3+3x = 13+2.6x

Combine the like terms:

3x-2.6x = 13-3

0.4x=10

4x/10 =10

4x = 10*10

4x=100

Divide both sides by 4

4x/4 = 100/4

x = 25

since you have already played 5 weeks...you need to play 25+5 = 30 weeks.

Therefore you need 30 total weeks to win at least 65% games....

The scale on a map shows that 200 miles is represented by 5 inches on a map. Which proportion can be used to find the distance
Ivenika [448]

Answer:

A proportion can be used to find the distance on the map that represents 50 miles, you can calculate this using the following steps:

200 miles ... 5 inches

50 miles ... x inch = ?

200 * x = 5 * 50

x = 5 * 50 / 200

x = 1.25 inch

The correct result would be x = 5 * 50 / 200.

Nolan rides his bike 63 miles in 270 minutes. What is his average speed in miles per hour?
boyakko [2]
Here, to find the average rate of change, you would simply divide 270 by 63. And when that is done, you would get a long decimal. 4.285714285714286

And since you obviously can't put in such a long decimal as your answer, you would round it instead. Once rounded, you would end up with 4.29 (because the number after 8 is five, which rounds up, which would turn the 8 to 9.)

What is the dimension of a rectangle if the perimeter is 198
AfilCa [17]

Answer:

Length = 49.5 unit and width = 49.5 unit

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as , Perimeter of rectangle = 198 unit

so ,as Perimeter of rectangle = 2× ( Length + width)

Or,                                   198 = 2 ×  (Length + width)

Or,                                   \frac{198}{2} = length + width

So, length + width = 99 unit

Now to make area maximum

Length × width = maximum

Or, (99 - width ) × width = maximum

      99 Width - width² = maximum                              Let width = W

Now differentiate both side with respect to W

D(99W - W²)\frac{D(99w - w^2)}{Dw} = 0         as, constant diff is 0

So, 99 - 2w = 0

Or, w = \frac{99}{2}

Or, w = 49.5 unit    and L = 99- 4905 = 49.5 unit      Answer
