A box has a square base with each side measuring 8 inches. The height of the box is 4 inches. What is the surface area of the bo
Dafna1 [17]

Answer:

The surface area should be 256 cubic inches

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation you use to find surface area is A=(wl+hl+hw)*2. The w stands for width (8) the l stands for length (8) and the h stands for height (4). When we put these numbers into the equation we get A=(8·8+4·8+4·8)*2. We do the multiplication first, then we add all of them up and times by 2; this gives us our answer of 256.

hope this helps:)
