The right answer is Boxer Rebellion.

Because of the fighting techniques used by members of the group, the rebellion became known in the rest of the world as the Boxer's Rise, an analogy to boxing. Considered a minor episode in several books, this rebellion marked the recent history of China in the period from the mid-19th century until after World War II, known as the century of humiliation. The raising of the Harmonious and Punisher Fists determined the last years of the Chinese Empire and had more events worthy of note that the unusual names of the fighters.

The image of the Harmonious and Punisher Fists has become a synonym for fighters from the east, where kung fu fighters flee from bullets and win clashes with only white guns. In a cartoon by W. A. Rogers, published by the New York Times in June 1900, Uncle Sam uses two warships as boxing gloves to confront a (scared) Chinese warrior, who was defending himself with a sword.
