If broccoli cost 1.50 per pund and your trying to find how much 32 ounces cost. You will first see how many ounces are in a pound and there are <u>16 ounces in 1 pound. </u>

ANSWER:

so, 16 + 16 = 32

then, 1.50 + 1.50 =  3 dollars
