Folic acid and vitamin B

Explanation:

Some of the intestinal bacteria are probiotic bacteria which help the host’s metabolism to meet nutritional needs.

Probiotic intestinal bacteria belonging to Lactobacillus Bifidobacterium, Bacteriodes, Enterococcus species take part in the synthesis of water-soluble vitamins like biotin, folate, thiamine, nicotinic acid, riboflavin, B12, and pyridoxine.

Folic acid or folate and other B-complex vitamins help the body in better absorption of nutrients from food. Folic acid cannot be synthesized by the body and hence dietary sources need to be taken.
