Think of the question as 2mm: 350mm then just convert the 350mm to cm by dividing by 10. 350mm=35cm.

Now you’ve got 2mm:35cm. All you have to do now is divide the ratio to get from 2mm to 1mm and so you just divide the whole ratio by 2 and end up with 1mm:17.5cm.
I think that’s what the question is asking. Hope this is helpful.

What is the term, coefficient, constant, and factor of 1/2(base1 + base2)h? (Formula used to find area of trapezoid)
vovangra [49]

Answer:

i. Term = \frac{b_{1}h }{2} + \frac{b_{2}h }{2}

ii. Coefficient = \frac{1}{2}

iii. Constant = \frac{1}{2}

iv. Factor = \frac{h}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

A trapezoid is a quadrilateral which has its base parallel to the opposite side. It's area can be determined by;

Area of trapezium = \frac{1}{2} (b_{1} + b_{2})h

Where b_{1} is the measure of length of its fist base,  b_{2} is the measure of its second base and h is its height.

Considering the given question,

Term = \frac{b_{1}h }{2} + \frac{b_{2}h }{2}

Coefficient = \frac{1}{2}

Constant = \frac{1}{2}

Factor = \frac{h}{2}

A bank teller knows that she received 34 dimes and nickels from a customer. If the change totaled $2.05, how many dimes and nick
ivanzaharov [21]
D = # of dimes
n= # of nickles

d + n = 34 so d = 34 - n
.10d + .05n = 2.05

substitute d = 34 - n into .10d + .05n = 2.05

.10d + .05n = 2.05
.10( 34 - n) + .05n = 2.05
3.4 - .1n + .05n = 2.05
     -.05n = -1.35
  n = 27

d = 34 - n
d = 34 - 27
d = 7

answer

<span>she received 7 dimes and 27 nickels</span>
