Self actualization is when someone realizes that they have accomplished something or when they have fulfilled their potential would be a good way to put it. So to appeal to a persons desire for self actualization you would  want to appeal to their interests or something they are good at. A speaker could say that everyone in this room has something they are good at and all of us our different and we all have different l things we love and we don't have to look at someone and they are better at this than i am we all are at different levels of success not failure. That is just what i would say the definition is right but i don't know about the speaker thing.
