We can solve this problem, if we use the rule of three.
x=the actual distance between these towns

1 cm----------------78 Km
3 cm---------------- x

1cm *x=3 cm * 78 Km
x=(3 cm * 78 Km) / 1cm=234 Km

Solution: 234 Km

What of the following has NOT played a major role in forming the Grand Canyon?
alexgriva [62]
The answer to the question is B. How would marine animals make a huge canyon? I don't think marine animals were by or in this area at the time.

Erosion basically destroys rocks and soil by wind, water, etc. This would have some effect to making the canyon.

Deposition of Sediment means to move rocks and soil that erosion did. The Colorado River is basically inside of the Grand Canyon and then some.

So the only logical answer is B.

 • Prose are typcially novels and short stories, but can extend as far as journals, diaries, letters, and more. Bascailly it falls under anything that is not poetry.

 • Drama is bascially any form of literature that is preformed and not just read. In fact, a drama is also sometimes called a play.

 • Poetry is written word that typically has a meter or rhythm. It's words that are easy to recite.

 • Nonfiction is well, not fiction. It's history books and audobiographies. It's factual information that people typically use to write reasearch papers, or to learn more about a certain subject.

Hope this helps! :)
