First you would follow the Order Of Operations:
Parenthesis
Exponent
Multiplication
Division
Addition
Subtraction
Second step: You will add 6 and 4 together since addition came before subtraction in the Order Of Operations.You would get 10.
Your equation should now look like: 13-10.
Last step: You would subtract 10 from 13 since there are no other numbers
Your answer should then be: 3

What equation represents the model shown below?
g100num [7]

Given:

The algebra tiles of an equation.

To find:

The equation represented by the given model.

Solution:

On the left side of the model we have 4 tiles of (-x) and 3 tiles of (-1). So,

LHS=(-x)+(-x)+(-x)+(-x)+(-1)+(-1)+(-1)

LHS=-4x+(-3)

LHS=-4x-3

On the right side of the model we have 8 tiles of (-1). So,

RHS=(-1)+(-1)+(-1)+(-1)+(-1)+(-1)+(-1)+(-1)

RHS=-8

Now, equate the LHS and RHS to get the equation.

-4x-3=-8

Therefore, the equation for the given model is -4x-3=-8.

What is 54 percent as a fraction in simplest form
atroni [7]
54% is 54 out of 100.
There for the numerator is 54 and the denominator is 100.

\frac{54}{100}

Now, both the top and the bottom can be divided by 2. So:

\frac{54~divided~by~2}{100~divided~by~2} = \frac{27}{50}

\frac{27}{50} can't be simplified anymore, therefore, 27/50 is 54% as a fraction.

student measuring how gasoline prices change records the cost of gas at 10 randomly selected stations in her hometown. One week
k0ka [10]

Answer:

We conclude that he used a paired two-sample t-test.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the student measuring how gasoline prices change records the cost of gas at 10 randomly selected stations in her hometown. One week later, she records the price again at the same 10 stations.

We conclude that he used a paired two-sample t-test.

Because at each gas station, the student measured the price of gas twice.
