Why might the population of North America be more concentrated on the Pacific and Atlantic coasts?
swat32

The population of North America is predominantly located on the coasts of the Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Ocean because of multiple factors:

- The climate is milder and more pleasant;

Because of the influence of the ocean, the climate is much more pleasant, the temperature variations smaller, and it is much more pleasant for living.

- The largest cities that have big economic power are located on the coasts;

The economic centers like New York, Philadelphia, Miami, Los Angeles, Settle, are all located on the coasts, and people move there in order to find better jobs and have better life.

- Big ports;

There are multiple big ports that are one of the biggest and most important in the global ocean trade, so they offer lots of opportunities for business.

- The tertiary and quaternary types of jobs are mainly found in this parts of the continent;

In this parts of the continent, the jobs that prevail are the ones that are from the tertiary and quaternary level, practically the higher paid jobs, so people are making their move there in order to progress, have nice careers, and improve their financial and social status.
