Answer: Option D

Explanation:

Carrying capacity can be defined as the maximum number of organisms( maximum load) an environment can carry after providing suitable food, shelter and other necessities.

The R-organism reproduce at a very high rate but they do not reach the carrying capacity. This is because there are many predators that feed on them.

Else, they are also killed by disease or stress conditions. This is the reason they do not reach the carrying capacity.

Mandarinka [93]

Answer:

The kinetochore of the chromosomes

Explanation:

What could be damaged that is hindering the spindle fibers from attaching to the chromosomes are the kinetochores of the chromosomes.

At the metaphase stage of the cell division, the chromosomes align at the equator of the cell and the spindle fibers engage each chromosome at a region known as the kinetochore.

The kinetochore is made up of complex proteins and lies around the centromere region of the chromosome. The microtubules of the spindle fibers attach to this region during the metaphase stage.

If the kinetochore is damaged, it means the spindle fiber will not be able to attach to the chromosome.

Why would it be hard to find the CO2 level if the light intensity were very low? HELP!!!!
drek231 [11]
If CO2 was in very small amounts then it would be the limiting factor of photosynthesis, this means the process will take place at a much slower rate because it is lacking one of the raw materials it needs for the process to occur. To find the optimum light intensity you really need all other factors to be at optimum levels or in abundance.
