Answer: The coefficients are 5, 2, 5, 2 and 4

Explanation:

Law of conservation of mass states that mass can neither be created nor be destroyed but it can only be transformed from one form to another form. This also means that total number of individual atoms on reactant side must be equal to the total number of individual atoms on the product side.

A balanced chemical equation always follow this law.

For the given chemical reaction, the balanced equation follows:

5SiO_2+2CaC_2\rightarrow 5Si+2CaO+4CO_2

By Stoichiometry of the reaction:

5 moles of silicon dioxide reacts with 2 moles of calcium carbide to produce 5 moles of silicon, 2 moles of calcium oxide and 4 moles of carbon dioxide

Hence, the coefficients are 5, 2, 5, 2 and 4

Urgent!! A chemist measured 5.2 g copper(II) bromide tetrahydrate (CuBr2•4(H2O)). How many moles were measured out? Answer in un
bezimeni [28]
 The moles which were measured out is calculated using the following formula

moles = mass/molar mass

molar mass of CuBr2.4H20 = 63.5 Cu + ( 2 x79.9) br + ( 18 x4_) h20 = 295.3 g/mol

moles is therefore= 5.2 g/ 295.3 g/mol= 0.0176 moles

which two atoms will form the most polar covalent bond? Electronegativity values for these elements are:O=3.44 C=2.55 N=3.04 H=2
Daniel [21]
Oxygen and hydrogen will form the most polar covalent bond(s) because the difference between their electronegativities is the greatest.
