<h3>Answer: 32a^35</h3>

=====================================

Explanation:

First simplify the stuff inside the parenthesis. The a^3 and a^4 multiply to get a^3*a^4 = a^(3+4) = a^7

So we end up with (2a^7)^5

Now raise each piece to the 5th power

2^5 = 2*2*2*2*2 = 32

(a^7)^5 = a^(7*5) = a^35

Then put it back together to end up with the answer 32a^35

-----------

Alternatively, you can raise each part to the 5th power

2^5 = 32

(a^3)^5 = a^15

(a^4)^5 = a^20

So we have 32*a^15*a^20 which simplifies to 32a^35 after we add the exponents (15+20 = 35)

I THINK you are supposed to solve in the parentheses first. I forgot. Do you know what the variables are supposed to be?

I need help with this problem :)
Crazy boy [7]

Answer:

Replace all occurrences of y with 6x−3 in each equation.

Replace all occurrences of y in 18x−3y=9 with 6x−3 .

18x−3(6x−3)=9

y=6x−3

Simplify 18x−3(6x−3).

9=9

y=6x−3

Remove any equations from the system that are always true.

y=6x−3
