One specific instance of the two fighting was the Cuban Missile Crisis. The USSR thought that they should stake missiles in Cuba to ward off the lead the US was obtaining in missiles and such. This example shows just how deadly the feud between Russia and the US was mainly because their economic goals differed. (Communism vs capitalism)

The Constitution gave specific and implied powers to the states. To run the business of each state, they created state constitutions to organize their state system. Each state took on the three branch system to organize their state government. The executive branch has a governor as the state leader. The legislative branch in most states is also bicameral or has two houses mimicking the federal Congress. Lastly, the states created a judicial branch with a state supreme court with county and city court houses to support the local levels of the judicial branch.
