D. African Americans who left the South during the Great Migration contributed to the Harlem Renaissance

Explanation:

The Harlem Renaissance formed the development of the Harlem community in New York . It involved the celebration of black theatre, black culture, literature and music which was in the New York City district. It was once called the new negro movement. The great migration was when the black community from a neighborhood called Black Bohemia moved to Harlem in the 1900s. The white occupants fought to keep the blacks out of Harlem, they eventually failed and many whites left the community.

The South Carolina and other Southern states impacted the Harlem Renaissance through the great migration, when majority of the black population left the southern states to North midwest cities which contributed greatly to Harlem Renaissance.
