Social Studies

Political parties may often practice coalition policy making by cooperating with their counterparts to ensure legislative organization - creating an environment of order when it comes to political debates inside the House of Representatives and the Senate -, and to appeal to the electorate during political campaigns.

Parties long for these practices in order to pursue their own interests, and procure they get the most value out of the coalition. This is done knowing that voters prefer representatives who impulse cooperation and diversity, rather than those who blatantly create disputes and publicly stand for their own goals.

The most common source of copper (Cu) is the mineral chalcopyrite (CuFeS2). How many kilograms of chalcopyrite must be mined to
schepotkina [342]

Answer:

0.881 kilograms

Explanation:

Mass of Cu = 305 g

Molar mass of Cu = 63.546 g/mol

The formula for the calculation of moles is shown below:

moles = \frac{Mass\ taken}{Molar\ mass}

Thus,

Moles= \frac{305\ g}{63.546\ g/mol}

Moles of Cu = 4.8 moles

Since in the formula of CuFeS_2,

1 mole of copper is present in 1 mole of CuFeS_2

So,

4.8 mole of copper is present in 4.8 mole of CuFeS_2

Moles of CuFeS_2 = 4.8 moles

Molar mass of CuFeS_2 = 183.53 g/mol

The formula for the calculation of moles is shown below:

moles = \frac{Mass\ taken}{Molar\ mass}

Thus,

4.8\ moles= \frac{Mass}{183.53\ g/mol}

Moles of CuFeS_2 = 881 g

Also, 1 g = 0.001 kg

So,

<u>0.881 kilograms of chalcopyrite must be mined to obtain 305 g of pure Cu.</u>

bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:    A. More positive

Explanation:  Brendan did not like psychology classes because of his conflicting and contradictory views on the subject. According to the theory of cognitive dissonance, when there is a lack of harmony regarding different, conflicting opinions, ideas and beliefs about a phenomenon or event, then one must find the consistency of those opinion, ideas and beliefs. By achieving consistency of opinion and beliefs, a view of a particular phenomenon or event changes and becomes more positive.
