How many time zones are in China

Geography
1 answer:
pickupchik [31]3 years ago
8 0

There should be 5 because of China's range of longitude.

But on the orders of the central government, the whole country is on Beijing time, so it's all one time zone.

Of course, that means that in far Western China, the sun sometimes rises at 1:00 in the morning and it sets at 2:00 in the afternoon. But that really doesn't upset the government officials 1,000 miles away in Beijing. And you get used to it.

How is information passed from the retina to the brain?
earnstyle [38]

Answer:

B. Sent through electrical signals

Explanation:

Information is passed from the retina to the brain via electric signals through the optic nerves. The optic nerves are a very important part of the visual system of the body in that they carry electric signals from the retina to the brain.

 • The brain therefore interprets the signal and conceptualizes it.
 • Light on the retina stimulates the cones and rods which in turn generate electrical signals.

Which of the following best explains the motion represented by the
Cerrena [4.2K]

Answer:

A. Rock is heated near the core at Point A, and therefore becomes less dense. It rises towards Point B. As it moves from Point B to Point C, it is cooled and becomes denser, so it sinks at Point D.

Explanation:

The process illustrated is a convection current, something seen places like the earth's mantle and atmosphere. The hotter matter gets, the more excited its molecules become and the more they become expanded and distant from each other. (Bear in mind that there is the same amount of matter but it takes up more space, i.e. less dense). This is because the molecules are excited by the thermal energy and bounce off each other, pushing them apart.

Cold, closer to the surface (or outer space in terms of air), in turn causes the matter to shrink back into itself, which leads to the increase in density that causes it to sink and repeats the process.

For this reason all of the object they are outside the earth such as Galaxies, sun, stars and the moon, Will Rise in the East and set in the West.

The earth spinning on its axis because of the gravitational pull that the sun exercise on it, and it's the reason why we have a day and a night.

The earth, beside moving on its axis, is moving in relationship to the sun, and this Orbit last 365 days (a year), and there is also a change in the inclination of the axis which is called a precessional cycle.

Provide instruction how to locate the area containing tropical rainforest using latitudes
andriy [413]

Answer:

Tropical rainforests are situated in a band around the equator (Zero degrees scope), for the most part in the region between the Tropic of Cancer (23.5° N scope) and the Tropic of Capricorn (23.5° S scope). This 3,000 mile (4800 km) wide band is known as the "tropics."

The tropical rainforest is a hot, soggy biome found close to Earth's equator. The world's biggest tropical rainforests are in South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Tropical rainforests get from 60 to 160 creeps of precipitation that is reasonably equally appropriated consistently.
