Mr. Mann's science students were experimenting with speed. They set up a 1 meter (100 cm) track. The students used balls instead

of cars. The balls were different sizes and made of different materials. Four at a time, students rolled balls around the track to see which had the fastest and slowest speeds. Some of their data are shown in the table. Which ball will take the longest to complete one lap around the track?

Compra un cuaderno en ____.
Romashka [77]

Answer:

The correct answer is D: la papelería.

Explanation:

The correct answer is D because la papelería is the stationery shop (the place where we buy writing materials), e.g. a notebook (un cuaderno).

Tienda de ropa means the clothing store, so we would use it to buy some clothes, not a notebook;

e.g. Compra una falda en la tienda de ropa.

Una hoja de papel means a sheet of paper, so it can not be considered as the correct answer, while los materiales escolares refers to the school supplies which is not the place where we can buy a notebook.

Kelly is almost 3. She sees her teenaged neighbor, Becky. Becky used to have very long hair, but she just had it cut into a shor
Arisa [49]

Answer:

The answer is A. Gender stability.

Explanation:

With his cognitive developmental theory of gender, Kohlberg aims to explain the process through which children develop an understanding of gender and sex. The first stage is called gender identity in which children realize that they are male or female and that other people as well; Kelly has achieved this stage.

The next stage is called gender stability, in which children understand the permanence of gender, that is, if a person is male or female, he or she will continue to be male or female in the future. This stage occurs when a child is approximately four years old.

Kelly has not yet achieved gender stability because she believes that her neighbor, who she used to identify as a female, can now be a man, based on a change of her appearance.
