3 0

(a+3)(a-2)

(a² -2a +3a - 6) =0

(a² + a - 6 ) = 0

Use splitting the middle term

a² + 3a - 2a - 6 = 0

a(a+3) - 2(a+3) = 0

(a-2)(a+3) = 0

Values of a are

a - 2 = 0

a = 2 .....(i)

a+3 = 0

a = -3 .....(ii)

Solve it:3/10×7/10=21/100
egoroff_w [7]
I'm gonna guess you're asking if the equation is true or false.
Well, the equation is True. 3/10 * 7/10 is 21/100, or in decimal form 0.21.
Converting 21/100 to a decimal is 0.21.
0.21 = 0.21.
21/100 = 21/100.

A scientist running an experiment starts with 100 bacteria cells. These bacteria double their population every 15 hours. Find ho
emmasim [6.3K]

Answer

It will take (t) = 24 hours to reach 300 .

Step by step explanation

It doubles every 15 hours.  initial bacteria = 100

We need to find how long it take for the bacteria cells to increase to 300.

300 = 100(2)^t/15

300/100 = 2^t/15

3 = 2^t/5

Taking "ln" both sides, we get

ln(3) = t/15 ln(2)

t/15 = ln(3)/ln(2)

t/15 = 1.585

t = 1.585 * 15

t = 23.78 hours

t = 24 hours to nearest whole hours.

Thank you.
