The Dietician would say the patient should decrease the amount of rice and pasta and increase the amount of oils in his or her diet. Rice and Pasta are considered lipids and oils are what carbohydrates are, therefore having 5% of the recommended 25-30 they need to increase the rice and pasta, but decrease oils, as they can have an adverse effect.
