Padraic Colum's text shows us a different angle of Jason and the Argonauts myth. Almost as if in an attempt to complement the original mythical tale, he gives an extra 'life', an individualization to the characters that brings us closer to them. He brilliantly does so by narrating events that would have occurred between the 5th and 6th paragraphs of the original myth text, when Jason would return to his ship Argo to meet his comrades after he learns (and agrees) to the tasks proposed by King Aietes intended to prevent him from getting the golden fleece, and before he seeks Medea's help in accomplishing those tasks.

The federal legislature or congress can repeal the state laws under the necessary and proper clause in order to impose federal laws necessary to provide general welfare and common defense of the nation because they have the authority to do so. This authority was given to them because the people believed that the congress would decide for the common good.
Moreover, only the federal legislature has the right to contract debts, lay taxes and if they believed that a state law may prevent the collection of a federal tax, then they can repeal state laws making sure that it is for the benefit of the United States.
Lichtenstein's comic book style is characterized by the use of a dot pattern, known as the Benday dot. He started using this system in 1961, and, although it became a signature element of his art, the system had been invented in 1879 and had already been used in comics, newspapers and billboards. Lichtenstein made the dots very big, almost to the point of exaggeration. The use of thick lines, as well as the bright colors are also elements that appear in billboards and comic books.
