Population distribution and settlement in ancient Egypt was not entirely dissimilar to today. Most of the population was centered around the Nile River and the Nile River Delta. The Nile River was and is the source of life for life in Egypt so it created a centralized population center along its banks that has lasted for centuries

What was the intent of the Proclamation of 1763?

The purpose of the Proclamation of 1763 was to keep a good relationship between the British and the Native Americans. It also created a line along the frontier (edge of the white settlement). The  Proclamation of 1763 also said that the British wouldn't allow settlement west of the line, giving Native Americans protection.
