In a sample of 77 children , the mean age as at which they first began to combine words was 16.51 months
astraxan [27]

Answer:

Mean age = 1271.27

Step-by-step explanation:

No of children = 77

The age at which children first began to combine words = 16.51 months

Mean age = No of children × age at which children first began to combine words

                = 77 × 16.51

                 = 1271.27

Mean age = 1271.27

How to find the volume of a quarter-sphere?
Ganezh [65]

As the word suggests, a quarter-sphere is a quarter of a sphere, and thus the volume of a quarter-sphere is a quarter of the volume of the sphere.

The volume of a sphere is computed as

\dfrac{4}{3} \pi r^3

So, the volume of a quarter-sphere is

\dfrac{1}{4}\cdot \dfrac{4}{3} \pi r^3 = \dfrac{1}{3} \pi r^3

Hi! I need some help, and this is due really soon! If you could answer any one of these, it would be real swell. Anyone can answ
Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

6

Step-by-step explanation:

first let's find all the possible combinations excluding 6+6 to get 12 using addition, we exclude 6+6 because we can't have the same integer for different variables. these are 0+12, 1+11, 2+10, 3+9, 4+8, and 5+7(also the other way around but i start with these). using common sense, I started higher because there is no way d = 0 and e= 12, so i went from 5+7 down. through trial and error and some luck, 5+7 was the correct combination. let's insert the numbers with their variables. d = 5 and e = 7. now we figure out, what minus 5 is 7? if you learned fact families in kindergarten, you'd know to find this out you add 5+7, which is 12. now we divide 12 by 2, because it's the same number added together to get this number, so you now get 6+6. does the equation make sense? (6+6) - 5 = 7, that checks out, and 5+7=12.
