Well when I move to SC, into a new school and of course a new home. The first day I went to school it was cool, nothing like I imagine it to be. Everyone was asking who I was, so I told them my name. The next day I went, people started to ask we're I was from, my naive self said we're I was from. After three days of people asking me questions, like they never seen a human before, but the ones that was already there. Days went by and I noticed things that I have never went through in my life. I met three girls that seemed cool, started to associated with them, later on down the lines things changed, but you know how that goes. I started to have some issues with some people at the school that changed me, but thank god I didn't fully charged. I started to get bullied from people at the school. It went on for a long time. As soon as I started to step up for myself, my plans didn't work out like I thought it would. I told my school canceller, she started to try and help me, but after a few times going to her she started thinking I need cancelling, but I would have, but I know that feeling when someone is judging me, she would look t me funny, and say you should be able to handle situations like this. She very though that I needed medication, because I got into a fight with someone. Obviously I stopped going to her, and started handling it my own.

That's the end of my situation, probably didn't help you.

There is no such thing as a stupid question. Colin Powell says :”there is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid answers.” A question might be not well said or maybe tangential but it is never stupid. Whether the Asker is asking something that seems illogical everyone has a right to ask any sort of question. You may see it differently than most people and that most definitely does not make you stupid does it? Growing up I’ve always been shy and it was difficult for me to just raise my hand and ask a question. One day in my 8th grade class class I was reading a book on the human brain and apparently everyone knew what a membrane was and I just didn’t remember it and I felt foolish because everyone was laughing at me for being “stupid” and “unappreciative of the sweet teacher.” So point is , I did get a bad response to a simple question I forgot. My teacher comforted me and told me that quote by Colin Powell and from then on whenever I hear someone ask a bit of an obvious question I simply answer it for them because it is not fair that they go through the same thing.

PolarNik [594]

“Concrete Mixers” by Patricia Hubbell compares concrete mixers to elephants to show humans have created relationships with their machines in much the same way as with animals under their care. The poet shows how the drivers of the concrete mixers wash and tend to their mixers just as the mahout take care of their elephants. This comparison is set up at the beginning of the poem with this simile: “Like elephant tenders they hose them down.” To continue this relationship, the poet describes the concrete drivers as “mahouts”, the name for people who take care of elephants in other countries. The poem also describes how the concrete mixers “stand in muck”, meaning that these machines are in muddy environments similar to the environments of elephants who stand in mud or muck.In the end the poet describes how the concrete mixers are like elephants working to do humans’ work by lifting, moving and helping to create new structures in a city. The poet uses several similes to describe concrete mixers as if they were alive: “Concrete mixers/Move like elephants/Bellow like elephants/Spray like elephants” She further strengthens the effect by writing that they “…are urban elephants/Their trunks are raising a city.” This metaphor means that just as elephants work for humans in

Poetry Collection 3 other countries, the machines in the poem are doing the labor of building a city. The poet uses the word “raising” to show that the city is being built up, becoming taller and taller with skyscrapers. Through the effective use of figurative language the poet shows how humans have begun to treat their machines as if they were living, breathing animal

Mr. Bello is
?
teacher. I am
?
student.
Llana [10]

The words that best completes the sentence is

"Mr Bello is the teacher. I am his student"

The article "the" is used to show a definite word, that is to say that Mr Bello is definitely the teacher.

The possessive pronoun "his" is used to show ownership.

What this means is that it shows without any iota of doubt that the narrator is the student of Mr Bello

Therefore, the best words that complete the sentence are "the" and "his"
