Answer:

The southern hemisphere is mostly occupied by the vast oceans. The water is generally characterized by their high specific heat capacity value. This is because the oceans warms and cools at a much slower rate. So the temperature of the ocean remains very high, during the summer and slowly cools down in the winter. The water content in the atmosphere also remains warm for a longer period of time, resulting in the warmer climate in the southern hemisphere.

On the otherhand, the northern hemisphere is comprised of land areas more than the oceans and it warms at the day time and releases the heat at night, maintaining a comparatively lower temperature in the northern hemisphere.

The biggest factor in differences in the climate in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres has to do with the distribution of land vs. ocean. The Northern Hemisphere has much more of Earth's land masses, while the Southern Hemisphere has a larger fraction of ocean. land and ocean heat and cool at different rates.

What is a greenhouse gases and what is Green House effect
TiliK225 [7]
Greenhouse gases(also known as GHGs) are gases in the earth's atmosphere that trap heat, such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and certain synthetic chemicals.

The greenhouse effect is a natural process that warms the Earth's surface. When the Sun's energy reaches the Earth's atmosphere, some of it is reflected back to space and some is absorbed and re-radiated by greenhouse gases.

If a cell lacked peroxisomes, what vital process would not occur?
mr Goodwill [35]

Answer;

Neutralization of free radicals

Explanation;

-Peroxisomes are small vesicles found around the cell. They have a single membrane that contains digestive enzymes for breaking down toxic materials in the cell. They differ from lysosomes in the type of enzyme they hold. Peroxisomes hold on to enzymes that require oxygen (oxidative enzymes).

-The oxidative enzymes that break down fatty acids and amino acids, resulting in, among other things, the production of the toxic substance, hydrogen peroxide.

Identify clues you would look for to judge whether a claim is based on science or pseudoscience.
vekshin1
If a claim is based on science, it will have a lot of scientific experimentation, replication of results, peer view, and proofs obtained from a lot of researches that substantiate investigated theory. However, if a claim is based on pseudoscience, instead of evidence that supports a theory, there would be claims that doesn’t follow specific criteria.
