Kush and Egypt were interdependent to one another because of the establishment of their civilization near the Nile River.  Egypt depended on the Kush for its trading centres which helped Egypt become prosper. Kush possessed gold, ivory, and iron ore which were valued. Kush also had fertile land, helped in generating more crops. Kush and Egypt wanted to take control over others because of the resources each could get after conquering the region, which would expand their power.
