Answer:

m∠WEV = 84°

Step-by-step explanation:

If ET bisects angle WEV, then m∠TEW = m∠TEV.

We have:

m∠TEW = (5x + 7)° and m∠TEV = (8x - 14)°.

Substitute:

5x + 7 = 8x - 14 subtract 7 from both sides

5x = 8x - 21               subtract 8x from both sides

-3x = -21 divide both sides by (-3)

x = 7

m∠WEV = m∠TEW + m∠TEV

Calculate the measures of each angle:

m∠TEW = (5x + 7)° → m∠TEW = (5 · 7 + 7)° = 42°

m∠TEV = (8x - 14)° → m∠TEV = (8 · 7 - 14) = 42°

CORRECT :)

m∠WEV = 2 · 42° = 84°

Find the measure of < AED for m < BEC = 96
Strike441 [17]
I wish you would of put a picture but with what you gave me. if the angle is a straight line then you would just set it up like 96+x=180 bc a straight line ='s 180 and den subtract 96 from 180 which is 84 so x would = 84 if the angle is a supp. angle but til there's not a picture this might be wrong.
But i hope this helps have a nice nite!

Zoe has 5 pounds of potatoes. She has multiple recipes that require 3/4 pounds of potatoes. How many recipes will she be able to
7nadin3 [17]

To find the answer convert 5 into 5/1. To make it compatible with 3/4 you have to have the same denominator. So to make 5/1 compatible with x/4 you multiply both sides by 4, so it would be 20/4. And then to find how many recipes you can make you would multiply 3 to the highest number it can be that does not exceed 20. The closest 3 can get to 20 before exceeding it would be 6 times. 6/1x3/4 =18/4. So you could make 6 recipes and you would have 2 pounds of potatoes left.

Zoe can make 6 recipies and she will have 2 pounds of potatoes left.

Does -3(x-4)= -3x=12 have one solution, many solutions, or no solutions at all?
TEA [102]

Answer:

If the expression is:

-3x + 12 = -3x + 12, infinite solutions

If the expression is:

-3x + 12 = -3x - 12, no solutions

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Distribute

-3x + 12 = 3x = 12

If both lines have the same slope and same y-int, they are the same line and therefore have infinite solutions.

If both lines have the same slope but different y-int, then they are parallel and therefore have no solutions.

White the equation of the circle with center -7,4 and diameter 12
Harman [31]

Answer: (x -4)^2 +(y -7)^2 = 36

Step-by-step explanation: The equation of a circle with radius r and center at (h, k) is ...

(x -h)^2 +(y -k)^2 = r^2

When the diameter is 12, the radius is 6 (half the diameter). Then for your center point, the equation is ...

(x -4)^2 +(y -7)^2 = 36
