Answer:

26

Step-by-step explanation:

The prime factors of 25 are 5*5. Their sum is 5+5 = 10.

The prime factors of 26 are 2*13. Their sum is 2+13 = 15.

The prime factors of 27 are 3*3*3. Their sum is 3+3+3 = 9.

The greatest of these sums is 15; this means 26 is the best choice.

So sum the prime factors up

25=5*5, 5+5=10
26=2*13, 2+13=15
27=3*3*3, 3+3+3=9

15>10>9

26 is biggest

pick 26

How will the metric system be used in your furture career
Solnce55 [7]

Answer:

i feel as if in the United States, both the metric system and the English system of measurement are used, although the English system predominates. This discussion question has three parts:

Look around you to find something in the U.S. that is measured in metrics. Describe it to the class.

Give an example of how you think the metric system will be used in your future career.

Do you think the U.S. should switch to metric system exclusively? Why or why not?

This week we learned about the metric and U.S. customary measurement systems. Please upload and submit your responses to the following questions in at least 150 words:

In reflecting on both measurement systems, what did you find most important?

Explain how both measurement systems could relate to your life, community, or current/future career.

Can someone help me with these 2 last homework questions

Thanks

31a) Think of $30.90 as 100% of her bill, we first want to find 6%
To work out how much this is, we need to divide the percentage by 100 to get a multiplier (decimal)
6/100 = 0.06
Multiply 0.06 and $30.90 to get the tax
$30.90 x 0.06 = 1.854
As we can't have part of a cent, we round to the nearest 100th
If the number to the right of this value is below 5 we round down, 5 or more we round up
4 is below 5 so we round down
$1.85

31b) For the total bill, we need to add together the original and the tax
$30.90 + $1.85 = $32.75

32a) Simple Interest = PRT
This means
P x R x T
We need to multiply together the Principal, Rate and Time span
We need to turn the percentage into a decimal, so we divide by 100 like before
3.2 / 100 = 0.032
$750 x 0.032 x 6 = $144

32b) To find the account balance, we need to add the interest to the original amount
$750 + $144 = $894
