Read the excerpt below and answer the question. It was deeper and more intimate than the fear of evil and capricious gods and of

magic, the fear of the forest, and of the forces of nature, malevolent, red in tooth and claw. Okonkwo’s fear was greater than these. It was not external but lay deep within himself. In this excerpt from Things Fall Apart, what is it that Okonkwo fears more than anything else? turning out to be just like his father having to kill his adopted son Ikemefuna facing the wrath of the priestess of Agbala dying without having produced a male heir

statuscvo [17]

Answer: a. He is distraught and unsure.

In this excerpt, Hamlet is distraught and feels desperate. He begins to wonder whether it would be better to die, as dying is only to sleep forever. He thinks this would end his heartache, and all the pain he is subject to. However, as he continues talking, he wonders if maybe the sleep of death comes with dreams, and whether those dreams might be nightmares. This worries him, and makes him more unsure as to what choice to make.
