Q 16. The energy is 308.7 J.

Q 17. The energy is 896000 J.

Step-by-step explanation:

Q 16. Given,

Mass (m) of the carriage and baby =  1.5 kg

Height (h) = 21 m

To find the energy.

We will find the potential energy as it rests at the top.

Formula

Potential energy = mgh where g be the gravitational force of the earth = 9.8m/s²

So,

Energy = 1.5×9.8×21 J

= 308.7 J.

Hence,

The energy is 308.7 J.

Q 17. Given,

Mass (m) = 1120 kg

Speed (v) = 40 m/s

To find out the energy.

We will find out the kinetic energy as the car is in motion.

Formula

Kinetic energy = \frac{1}{2}mv²

So,

Energy = \frac{1}{2}×1120×40² J

= 896000 J

Hence,

The energy is 896000 J.

Does anyone know the answer to this question. I already tried A and C.
Archy [21]

I think the answer would have to be D. If the diameter, which is the distance from one point on the circle through the center to another point on the circle, is halved then the amount of concrete that will be needed will be multiplied by 4. I think that's right I am so sorry in advance if that was incorrect. Have a beautiful rest of your day. Stay safe. C O V I D - 1 9 IS REAL THIS COULD MEAN YOUR LIFE!!!

A number cube with faces labeled from 1 to 6 will be rolled once.
tresset_1 [31]

Question:

A number cube with faces labeled from 1 to 6 will be rolled once.  The number rolled will be recorded as the outcome.

Give the sample space describing all possible outcomes.  Then give all of the outcomes for the event of rolling a number greater than 2.

If there is more than one element in the set, separate them with commas.

Answer:

S = \{1,2,3,4,5,6\}

Greater2 = \{3,4,5,6\}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

A roll of a 6 sided number cube

Solving (a): The sample space

This implies that we list out all number on the number cube.

So:

S = \{1,2,3,4,5,6\}

Solving (b): Outcomes greater than 2

This implies that we list out all number on the number cube greater than 2 i.e. 3 to 6.

So:

Greater2 = \{3,4,5,6\}
