14)  The answer is a) y = 2x. 2 is the slope and the line does not cross over the Y axis in this picture so there is not a Y-intercept you can see.
15) You pretty much just estimate. On the graph when you find 50 minutes and go up its around 140. 50 x 2 is 100 minutes. so just multiply 140 by 2 and its 280 so just round to the closest one.

hichkok12 [17]

Answer:

<h2><u><em>c = -9</em></u></h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

4c + 11 = -25

4c = -25 - 11

4c = -36

c = -36 : 4

c = -9

or

4c + 11 + 25 = 0

4c + 36 = 0

c = (-36)/4

c = -9

-------------------

check

4 *(-9) + 11 = -25

-36 + 11 = -25

-25 = -25

the answer is good

Which expressions are differences of squares?
Zarrin [17]
If an expression is the difference of two squares, it will follow this format:
(a)^{2}-(b)^{2}
where a and b are integers or variables.

1) w^{2} - 121 = (w)^{2} -( 11)^{2}
Since the expression follows the format, it's a DoTS.

2) Since the binomial has an addition sign, it isn't a DoTS.

3) n^{2}-50=(n)^{2}-(5\sqrt{2})^{2}
The second term isn't an integer, so the expression isn't a DoTS.

4) a^{2}-36=(a)^{2}-(6)^{2}
Since the expression follows the format, it's a DoTS.

Therefore, the first and fourth expressions are differences of two squares.
