Answer:

7m  x  4m

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a rectangle (A) = L * W -----1

Perimeter (P) = 2L + 2W     ----------2

where:

A = 28 sq. m.

P = 22 m.

we can use either formula 1 or 2 to get L or W

say

A = L * W

28 = L * W

L = 28 / W

substitute L = 28 / W  into formula 2

P = 2L + 2W

22 = 2(28 / W) + 2W  then multiply  W on each side

22W = 56 + 2W²

solve W using quadratic equation:

W = 7 and W = 4

therefore

the dimension of the garden is: 7m x 4m

What is the rule for finding the coordinates of an image reflected over the line y=-x
joja [24]
You can find the coordinates of any graph by using a coordinate table, which looks as so in the chart provided below.

What you do is you, put in the letter x and then put what y is equal to in the second box. You plug in any number for x and you solve in order to find the y coordinate. Once you do, for example for plugging in -1 into x you get 1. So your coordinate would be (-1,1).

2) 3 cups of blue paint, and 15 cups of yellow paint
3) 5 cups of yellow for every cup of blue paint
4) for every cup of blue paint 5 cups of yellow are used to get the same shade of green

Share £56 in the ratio 3:4
vagabundo [1.1K]

Answer:

£24 : £32

Step-by-step explanation:

Add the parts of the ratio 3 + 4 = 7

Divide the amount by 7 to find the value of one part

£56 ÷ 7 = £8 ← one part of the ratio

3 parts = 3 × £8 = £24

4 parts = 4 × £8 = £32
