If you do not have a compass to kinda help map or a device within your household like a globe, this actually helps if you know how to read it properly, then I reccomend using an online compass (a gps lattitude system). They come in handy not just for assignments, but also if you are travling. Some GPS systems (even on a mobile device) you can gather coordinatest to places. I hope this helps.
