Answer:

]\text{Total cost} = \text{Cost of renting a car per day}\times \text{Number of days for which the car is rented.}

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following information in the question:

In order to answer his question we have to make the following assumptions:

Let z be the cost of renting the car for one day.

We are given that y is the cost of renting the cars for x days.

\text{Total cost} = \text{Cost of renting a car per day}\times \text{Number of days for which the car is rented.}

Thus, total cost y for renting car for x days at z cost of renting per day =

y(\text{Total Cost}) = x(\text{Number of days})\times (\text{Cost of renting per day})\\y =x\times z

The above equation is the required equation for total cost of renting a car for x days.

:. 7p + 4p - 10 = 6p
sergiy2304 [10]

Answer:

\boxed {p = 2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Solve the value of p:

7p + 4p - 10 = 6p

-Combine like terms:

7p + 4p - 10 = 6p

11p - 10 = 6p

-Take 6p and subtract it from 7p:

11p - 10 - 6p = 6p - 6p

5p - 10 = 0

-Add 10 on both sides:

5p - 10 + 10 = 0 + 10

5p = 10

-Divide both sides:

\frac{5p}{5} = \frac{10}{5}

\boxed {p = 2}

So, therefore, the value of p is 2.

Think about how to find the area of a rectangle. A=LW and a triangle 1/2B*H. Create a problem using each formula.
WITCHER [35]

Given expressions:

  Area of a rectangle  = L W

  Area of a triangle = \frac{1}{2} B H

Problem;

Create problems using the formula;

Solution:

Problem 1; Find the area of a rectangle whose length is 10cm and the width is half the size of the length?

    Given parameters:

    Length of rectangle  = 10cm

    Width of rectangle  = \frac{1}{2} x length  = \frac{1}{2} x 10  = 5cm

So, the area of the rectangle = 10cm x 5cm  = 50cm²

2. A triangle with a base length of 30cm and a height of 2cm will have an area of what?

    Given parameters:

         base length  = 30cm

         height  = 2cm

 Solution:

   Area of a triangle  = \frac{1}{2} x b x h

   Area of a triangle  = \frac{1}{2} x 30 x 2  = 30cm²

The area of the triangle will be 30cm²
