Out of the choices given, the action that is more appropriate for dealing with major frustrations than with minor frustrations is gaining control of your life. The correct answer is B.

The correct alternative is letter B.

Performing a physicial activity, using positive self-talk and blowing off steam are appropriate alternatives for people that are dealing with minor frustrations, things that can be forgotten easily by doing something to distract themselves.

When you have a major problem in life, one of the appropriate alternatives would be gaining control of your life. When dealing with a huge problem, it probably means that something went wrong in the way you're dealing with your life, and it needs to be changed.

In the context of the passage as a whole, the author’s discussion of Eddy’s study in the sixth and seventh paragraphs primarily
stira [4]

Answer:

Answer E: undermine the traditional basis of a claim about conventional medicine’s legitimacy

Explanation:

Correct. The author discusses Eddy’s study in the context of elaborating on the question she asked in the fourth paragraph, “But how scientific is conventional ‘scientific’ medicine anyway?” This question challenges the perspective on conventional medicine described in the first paragraph, which sees conventional medicine as “scientific” and alternative medicine as “pseudoscience.” Since Eddy’s study concluded that conventional medical decision making was not based on strong scientific evidence, it provides evidence that refutes the traditional argument for the legitimacy of conventional medicine.

Why should you ask people questions about school or their jobs?
IgorC [24]
It is always good to ask questions about jobs you think might interest you in the future. Selecting a job for your life is a big deal. It is good to know both the good and bad points of any job so you can make a better decision. Being informed is your job right now. Job titles and responsibilities change so you just have to keep on top of them. When it comes to school, I'm not sure you mean currently or for college. For college you want to attend the school that most closely fits your desired job, that will train you well and keep up-to-date instructors. Some colleges are known for certain degrees and have waiting lists or have stringent requirements you'll have to know about. Not only do you want to know about the academics of the college but what the social life and mission of the school is. Does it match who you are?
