1) Is (3,0) in the same location as (0,3) if you were to graph them? Why or why not

1) No the locations are not the same. To get to the point (3,0), you would move 3 units to the right of the origin. To get to (0,3), you would move 3 units up from the origin. The origin is the starting point every time to help set a frame of reference.

2) The origin (0,0) is the only point in which you can reverse the coordinates and have the same location

3) This is basically a repeat of problem 2 above. The same answer (0,0) which is the origin applies here.

Find the annual percentage rate of change for the population of Oregon. In 2000, there were 4.8
MrRa [10]

Answer:

The annual percentage rate of change for the population of Oregon is of 8.125%.

Step-by-step explanation:

Total percentage change:

Change multiplied by 100 and divided by the initial value.

Change: 8.7 - 4.8 = 3.9 million

Initial value: 4.8

Percentage change: 3.9*100/4.8 = 81.25%

Annual percentage rate of change

81.25% during 10 years(from 2000 to 2010).

So, per year

81.25%/10 = 8.125%

The annual percentage rate of change for the population of Oregon is of 8.125%.

The difference of two complementary angles is 20. Find the measure of each angle
stich3 [128]

Answer:

35° , 55°

Step-by-step explanation:

Let one angle be x.

It's complementary angle is = (90 - x)°

According to the question ,

x - (90 - x) = 20

=> x - 90 + x = 20

=> 2x = 90 - 20 = 70

=> x = \frac{70}{2} = 35

14. A rectangle has a width described by the expression (x2 + 2x – 15)/x and a length described by the expression
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]

Answer:

The answer to your question is Perimeter = [4x³ + 14x² + 50x - 150] / x(5 + x)

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Width = (x² + 2x - 15)/x

Length = (3x² + 4x)/ (5 + x)

Process

1.- Write the formula for the perimeter of a rectangle

Perimeter = 2W + 2L

2.- Substitution

Perimeter = 2(x² + 2x - 15)/x + 2(3x² + 4x)/(5 + x)

3.- Simplification

Perimeter = (2x² + 4x - 30)/x + (6x² + 8x)/(5 + x)

4.- Sum the fractions

Least common factor = x(5 + x)

Perimeter = [(2x² + 4x - 30)(5 + x) + (x(6x² + 8x)] / x(5 + x)

-Simplification

Perimeter = [10x² + 20x - 150 - 2x³ - 4x² + 30x + 6x³ + 8x²] / x(5 + x)

Perimeter = [4x³ + 14x² + 50x - 150] / x(5 + x)
