The correct answer is the One fired from from 60° . This is because the projectile fired from 60° has a greater vertical velocity compared to the one fired from 30° and therefore spends more time on air. Vertical velocity is the velocity of a body as it moves upwards, it is normally affected by the gravitational acceleration, however it is not affected by the horizontal velocity.

The time it takes for the object in projectile motion to be in air is calculated through the equation,

             time of flight = 2v₀sinθ/g

If all else are equal except for θ then, we compare their sin values.
 sin(30°) = 0.5
 sin(60°) = 0.866

Since the value of sin60° is greater than the value of sin30° then, projectile motion fired at an angle of 60° will spend more time in air.

The answer is the last choice.

Dominique can ice cupcakes twice as fast as Houston. When they work together, Dominique and Houston can ice a large order of cup
olganol [36]
This is a work problem. It can be solved as follows:

Houston = 1/x
Dominique = (1/2x)
Together = 1/5

Then, we add Houston and Dominique:

1/x + 1/2x = 1/5

Solve for x,

x = 2/15

Therefore, it would take 15/2 hours for Houston to ice by himself, the last option.

3b - c +5 if c= - 4, b=2.
AnnZ [28]

Answer:

15

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the answer, plug the values of each variable into the equation and simplify. It may be easiest to plug one variable in at a time, simplify, then plug the next variable in. Remember, if the equation is asking you to subtract a negative number, the negatives cancel and you want to add the numbers.

b = 2          c = -4

3b - c + 5                                      <----- Original expression

3(2) - c + 5                                    <----- Plug 2 in for "b"

6 - c + 5                                        <----- Multiply 3 and 2

11 - c                                              <----- Add 6 and 5

11 - (-4)                                           <----- Plug -4 in for "c"

15                                                  <----- Add 11 and 4
