A,B,C,D i.e. all statements are true!

Step-by-step explanation:

According to question, Lynn works as a part-time vendor selling necklaces for $15 each and bangles for $10 each. She needs to earn a minimum of $300 per week to cover her expenses. The inequality for above scenario will be :

15x + 10y\geq 300 where, x is number of necklaces & y is number of bangles.

A.

Lynn will meet her goal if she sells 12 bangles and 12 necklaces. i.e. x=12 and y=12 , putting values inequality : 15(12) + 10(12) = 300 which follows inequality . True statement!

B.

Lynn will meet her goal if she sells 20 bangles and 6 necklaces.

putting values inequality : 15(6) + 10(20) = 290 which follows inequality . True statement!

C.

Lynn will meet her goal if she sells 6 bangles and 12 necklaces. putting values inequality : 15(12) + 10(6) = 240, which follows inequality . True statement!

D.

Lynn will meet her goal if she sells 2 bangles and 18 necklaces.putting values inequality : 15(18) + 10(2)=290, which follows inequality . True statement!

Distribute: 4(x(x-11)-11(x-11))=25
4(x^-11x-11(x-11))=25

Solution: x=17/2
x=27/2

If anyone could solve this question for me while showing the steps. It would be GREATLY appreciated
Blizzard [7]

this is a very annoying problem, with lots of steps. it is on a next level of dragging on and on

Step-by-step explanation:

You can split this into different shapes. A triangle, a rectangle, and a void of a quarter circle. The total area is rectangle+triangle-quarter circle.

We find the second side of the triangle by doing 65-48=17

We then use the pythagorean theorem to find the third length. This is about 49.1426.

We can then use whatever method you'd like for finding the area of the triangle. it turns out to be about 417.7125

Next, we find the rectangle, easy enough, 49.1426*48=2358.8448

which seems a bit scuffed until you realize that the diagram itself is scuffed as well. Great, quarter circle next

16*16*pi/4=201.0619

Alright, now to combine it to find the area.

417.7125+2358.8448-201.0619=2575.4954

great, now let's find the perimeter, simple enough. Curved perimeter+straight perimeter-that one corner in the bottom right

52+48+49.1426+65-32+25.1327=207.2753

and now we convert to meters

207.2753feet=63.1775meters

We are almost done! Now let's find the cost.

Fencing first:

63.1775*8.50=537.01

Then the cement

2575.4954*5.50=14165.2247

Then we add it up and apply tax:

537.01+14165.2247=14702.2347

14702.23*1.13=$16613.53

if you find anything wrong message me, I may have made errors because its 10pm and i need sleep. I recommend you work through my steps on your own as well. There might be complications with rounding as well, so yea. Hope this helps!

If 1/4 gallons of water are enough to fill 7/10 of the pool how much water is nessacary to fill in the entire pool
anyanavicka [17]

Answer: 5/14 gallons

============================================================

Work Shown:

1/4 = 0.25

7/10 = 0.70 = 70%

We are told that 0.25 gallons of water fills 70% of the pool

We want to find how many gallons of water (call it x) are needed to fill 100% of the pool.

Set up the proportion below and solve for x

(0.25 gallons)/(70% filled) = (x gallons)/(100% filled)

0.25/70 = x/100

0.25*100 = 70x ....... cross multiply

25 = 70x

70x = 25

x = 25/70

x = (5*5)/(5*14)

x = 5/14 gallons

----------------------------------------

An alternate method:

1/4 gallons = 7/10 pools filled

(10/7)*(1/4 gallons) = (10/7)*(7/10 pools filled)

(10*1)/(7*4) gallons = (10*7)/(7*10) pools filled

10/28 gallons = 1 pool filled

(5*2)/(14*2) gallons = 1 pool filled

5/14 gallons = 1 pool filled

In the second step, I multiplied both sides by 10/7 so that the "7/10" turns into "1".

----------------------------------------

Yet another alternate method:

1/4 = 10/40

7/10 = 28/40

We need 10/40 gallons of water to fill 28/40 of one pool. We can multiply both fractions by 40 to indicate that 10 gallons of water will fill up 28 pools.

So we have this ratio

10 gallons : 28 pools

Dividing both parts by 28 tells us how many gallons are needed for one pool

10 gallons : 28 pools

10/28 gallons : 28/28 pools

10/28 gallons : 1 pool

5/14 gallons : 1 pool
