Answer:

1) conic, 3)curved-surface, 4) equal-area, 5)Mercator

Explanation:

 • The most common types of map projections are cylindrical, conic, and azimuthal. As the conical map projection is used to show places around the poles. Also called as equidistant conical projection represent both hemispheres.
 • The curved surface projection is also called the cylindrical map projection that represents the global meridians. They stretch distances from east to west.
 • The equal-area projection also is known as equidistant his projection shows earth on the same size of map but may distort their shape, angle, and/or scale. An example is Bonne and Sinusoidal projection.
 • Mercador a type of cylindrical map projection, is a standard map projection for navigators. This projection inflates the size of objects away from the equator such as Greenland appears to be bigger than Africa.

In this experiment, how many chromosomes were present when meiosis i started? 2. in this experiment, how many nuclei are present
wariber [46]
1. The answer depends on your picture.
DNA is packed and condensed with proteins in the form of chromosomes.

Since the process of division is going to start that means each chromosome will have an X shape. They had the DNA content copied once (in the S phase). The original, plus the copy created, form the X.

You just have to count the number of X's in the picture.

2. The answer is 4 nuclei.
Since the process of division happening is meiosis, that means that four new cells will be originated from a cell that's dividing.
So, four new cells each one with a nucleus, that means 4 nuclei in total.

If this was mitosis, only 2 new cells would be formed which means 2 nuclei

3. The number of chromosomes depends on your picture/exercise.

The answer would be half of the number of chromosomes that you started in the meiosis 1.
This time, chromosomes won't have an X shape since the copies were separated. At the end of the process, each chromosome has just one chromatid.

During the electron transport chain which process leads to the production of large amounts of ATP
MAVERICK [17]

Answer;

High-energy electrons pump hydrogen ions against the concentration gradient.

Explanation;

-The electron transport chain sets up a proton concentration gradient across the inner mitochondrial membrane, with more protons outside the membrane.

-As a result of this gradient, the protons are waiting to get across the membrane. This happens through the transmembrane protein ATP synthase, which uses the energy moving protons through its pore to add a phosphate to ADP, thus producing ATP.
