The correct answer is C. Facilitator.

Explanation:

In group discussions, it is common there are different roles as this guarantees the discussion can develop properly and is effective. In the case of the facilitation, this is one of the most important roles as the facilitator is commonly in charge of leading the discussion, which means he or she introduces the topic, objectives, and rules of the discussion; also, he or she assigns turns for participants to speak and ensures everyone participates by assigning turns and time to everyone including those that might seem reluctant or shy. Thus, the role described is Facilitator.

3. Write a definition of the conditional tense in one sentenc
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

We use Conditional tenses to talk about hypothetic situations in the future, in the past, and to talk about events that would have happened.

a. If we were to be hit by an iceberg, we would die.

b If my cat were to eat a mouse, it would be a predator.

c If I were never to go in the sun, I would be extremely pale.

Explanation:

Conditional tenses communicate hypothetical situations in the past, theories about what might have happened, what happens concerning facts that are always true, and events with a low probability to occur in the future.

The sentences in this exercise are using conditionals to talk about situations in the present or future that probably will not happen.

We use:

the word if + the subject + were to,.... + subject + would + verb in the infinitive....

In formal writing, we can use the subjects he, she, and it with the auxiliary were instead of was and then the verb in the infinitive. For example, If he were to fail his test, he would be sad.

Claim: High school students should not have to do chores.
Len [333]

Answer:

Two reasons I support this claim are because high school students are already stressed and tired anough as it is, by the time they come home they just want to relax and not have to worry about anything like chores. My second reason is because students have so many activities and extracuricular sports and such that they have to study for or participate in, when they don't get their chores done their parents will usually get mad at them which adds on to the stress that they are already feeling.

I am currently speaking from experience and from conversations I have had with other highschoolers. Two possible counterclaims could be that students need to learn how to do household chores when they're young so they will be prepared for when they move out on their own and because some chores are easy small and simple things to do and it wouldn't hurt to pick up a few pieces of trash or to take the trash out. I would say that the first counterclaim while in some cases could be true is also wrong, because most chores you don't have to learn how to do. You don't have to practice taking the trash out or doing the dishes. And while it wouldn't hurt to pick up a piece of trash or do the dishes, a lot of parents have unrealistic expectations when it comes to chores. I would state my counter-counterclaims and provide more backup research/evidence as to why I am correct.
