What proprety shows that 2/5 x 1 =40/100
UkoKoshka [18]
Commutative Property.

It cannot be multiplication property because it would have to be live 5 x 1 = 5. For multiplication property the answer has to be the same as the number you used to get the answer. Does that make sense? I can send you a pic if you need it. I might be wrong because I just learned it now so I could give you an answer but from the example I got it has to be like 25x1=25, 100x1=100 something like that

Find all exact solutions on the interval [0, 2π). Look for opportunities to use trigonometric identities.
Nostrana [21]

Answer:

x = π/2, 7π/6, or 11π/6

Step-by-step explanation:

sin² x − cos² x − sin x = 0

Use Pythagorean identity to write cosine in terms of sine.

sin² x − (1 − sin² x) − sin x = 0

sin² x − 1 + sin² x − sin x = 0

2 sin² x − sin x − 1 = 0

Factor:

(2 sin x + 1) (sin x − 1) = 0

Solve:

sin x = -1/2 or 1

x = π/2, 7π/6, or 11π/6

A cake recipe calls for 30 milliliters of water for every 20 milliliters of cooking oil. How many milliliters of water are neede
NikAS [45]
To solve this problem we can set up a proportion, letting x represent the unknown amount of cooking oil.

30 milliliters water/20 milliliters cooking oil = x milliliters water/ 50 milliliters cooking oil

30/20 = x/50

To solve this proportion, we can use cross products, also called the means extremes products theorem.  This takes the products of the numerator and denominator from the separate fractions and sets them equal to one another.  In this circumstance, it results in the equation:

(30)(50) = (x)(20)

When we multiply we get:

1500 = 20x

Finally, we have to divide both sides of the equation by 20 to get our variable x alone on the right side of the equation.

x = 75 milliliters

Therefore, the proportion is completed, as 30/20 = 75/50.

Answer: You need 75 milliliters of water.

Can somebody help me with this question, please? I have no idea how to do this or find the answer. :/ How many ways are there to
san4es73 [151]

Answer:

28 different ways

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a combination question. Combination has to do with selection.

Total number of element in the set = 8

Number divisible by 6 or 8 are {-98, -48, -42, -36, -18, -6}

Total number divisible by 6 or 8 is 6

The number of ways we can choose 6 items from 8 is expressed as;

8C6 = 8!/(8-6)!6!

8C6 = 8!/(2)!6!

8C6 = 8*7*6!/2!6!

8C6 = 8*7/2

8C6 = 56/2

8C6 = 28 ways

Hence there are 28 different ways
