Children in the USA consist of about 23% of the population that below the age group of 18 years and they comprise of about 32 %of people in poverty. And amongst them abut 44% live in poverty or low-income families.
That is about 1 in 5 children that are presented by the 21% of the population of the country. About 72 million children in the U.S.A. And this trend goes on increasing form 2008 onwards.
Children represent 24 percent of the population, but they comprise 34 percent<span> of all people in poverty.1 Among all children under 18 years of age, </span>45 percent<span> live in low-income families and approximately one in every five (</span>22 percent) live in poor families.
