Answer:

Spaces available to park in are:

58

Step-by-step explanation:

Total parking space is for 534 cars.

Cars already parked= 476

Remaining space=534 - 476

                            = 58

Hence, spaces available to park in are:

58

In the figure above, PQRS is a circle. If PQT and SRT<br>are straight lines, find the value of x.
Elena L [17]

Given:

PQRS is a circle, PQT and SRT  are straight lines.

To find:

The value of x.

Solution:

Since PQRS is a circle, PQT and SRT  are straight lines, therefore, PQRS isa cyclic quadrilateral.

We know that, sum of opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral is 180 degrees.

m\angle SPQ+m\angle QRS=180^\circ

81^\circ+m\angle QRS=180^\circ

m\angle QRS=180^\circ-81^\circ

m\angle QRS=99^\circ

Now, SRT  is a straight line.

m\angle QRT+m\angle QRS=180^\circ             (Linear pair)

m\angle QRT+99^\circ=180^\circ

m\angle QRT=180^\circ-99^\circ

m\angle QRT=81^\circ               ...(i)

According to the Exterior angle theorem, in a triangle the measure of an exterior angle is equal the sum of the opposite interior angles.

Using exterior angle theorem in triangle QRT, we get

m\angle PQR=m\angle QRT+m\angle QTR

x=81^\circ+22^\circ

x=103^\circ

Therefore, the value of x is 103 degrees.

write an equation to represent the relationship, and find the amount of peanut butter used to make 25 cracker packages. the tabl
Nadusha1986 [10]

We are given 4 points.

(\frac{1}{2},2)

(\frac{5}{8},\frac{5}{2})

(\frac{3}{4},3)

(\frac{7}{8},\frac{7}{2})

Using this, we can make an equation.

y=4x

I got m=4 by using the slope formula.

m=\frac{2.5-2}{0.625-0.5}

m=\frac{0.5}{0.125}

m=4

So the equation we have is y=4x

Now, we can solve for how much peanut butter is used to make 25 packages by plugging in 25 for y, which is the number of cracker packages.

25=4x

x=\frac{25}{4}

We need to use \frac{25}{4} teaspoons of peanut butter to make 25 packages of crackers.

Hope this helps.

頑張って!
