Answer:76

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Total participants in survey 248

No of people who drink tea only 68

No of people who drink coffee only  is 32

No of people who drink both 72

we know n\left ( A\cup B\right )=n\left ( A\right )+n\left ( B\right )-n\left ( A\cap B\right )

No of People who drink tea is (A)=68+72=140

No of People who drink Coffee is(B) =32+72=104

No of People who neither drink coffee or tea =248-\left [ 140+104-72\right ]

=248-172=76

Answer:

when I worked it out I actually got -1466...

Step-by-step explanation:

Using order of operations you would multiply the 2 by 742, then subtract from left to right. 2 x 742 =1484 and 30 minus that is -1454. Subtracting 12 would give you -1466. I know that's not in the answer choices but that's what I got...

Kala purchased a prepaid phone card for $15. Long distance calls cost $12 a minute using this card. Kala Use her card only once
irina [24]

Kala call lasted for 0.36 minutes

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

Given that Kala purchased a prepaid phone card for $15

Long distance calls cost $12 a minute using this card.

If the remaining credit on her card is $10.68

To find: Number of minutes her call lasted

Let "x" be the number of minutes her call lasted

Cost of 1 minute = $ 12

Total balance = $15

Remaining balance = $ 10.68

So we can frame a equation as:

Total balance = Remaining balance + Cost of 1 minute x number of minutes her call lasted

15 = 10.68 + 12 \times x\\\\15 - 10.68 = 12x\\\\4.32 = 12x\\\\x = 0.36

So her call lasted for 0.36 minutes
