BOD MAS is the most important rule of Mathematics.The rule to any mathematical scenario is Brackets,Order, Division(÷), Multiplication,Addition and Subtraction. Division has as the two dots denotes a numerator and a denominator. Numerator is lower then denominator but sometimes it can be other way around.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • 2 ÷ 2 When you divide 2 by another number 2 the answer is 1.
  • Any number divide by the same number is 1
  • If 5  ÷ 2 , 5 portion is divided by 2 so we take 2 and result 4.
  • Reminder comes 1 as 4 does not equal to 5 and 4 can't go beyond 5.
  • Division means divide the group in two equal parts.
  • Long division is the operation which goes in process steps by steps.
  • Divisible by means one number is equally divisible by other number.

Answer:

\huge\boxed{\sf x = 55\°}

Step-by-step explanation:

When a quadrilateral is inscribed in a circle, the opposite angles of it add up to 180 degrees.

Here,

∠DCB + ∠DAB = 180 (Opposite angles of a quad inscribed in a circle.)

<u>Given that:</u> ∠DCB = 135° and ∠DAB = x

135 + x = 180

Subtract 135 to both sides

x = 180 - 135

x = 55°

\rule[225]{225}{2}

Hope this helped!

a random sample of 4 claims are selected from a lot of 12 that has 3 nonconforming units. using the hypergeometric distribution
Sloan [31]

Answer:

The probability that the sample will contain exactly 0 nonconforming units is P=0.25.

The probability that the sample will contain exactly 1 nonconforming units is P=0.51.

.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have a sample of size n=4, taken out of a lot of N=12 units, where K=3 are non-conforming units.

We can write the probability mass function as:

P(x=k)=\frac{\binom{K}{k}\binom{N-K}{n-k}}{\binom{N}{n}}

where k is the number of non-conforming units on the sample of n=4.

We can calculate the probability of getting no non-conforming units (k=0) as:

P(x=0)=\frac{\binom{3}{0}\binom{9}{4}}{\binom{12}{4}}=\frac{1*126}{495}=\frac{126}{495} = 0.25

We can calculate the probability of getting one non-conforming units (k=1) as:

P(x=1)=\frac{\binom{3}{1}\binom{9}{3}}{\binom{12}{4}}=\frac{3*84}{495}=\frac{252}{495} = 0.51
