Which traits are challenges of life for all organisms? Choose all answers that are correct.
Varvara68 [4.7K]
<span><span>a.   </span>Reproducing</span>
d. maintaining structure
f. obtaining energy

These three traits definitely standout as a challenge for every living creature in the ecosystem. In Darwin’s Natural Selection Survival of the fittest: being fit is one category in order to survive the wild, in other words, being flexible. Reproduction is battle royale in both humans and animals, even for plants too. Why? Because the ecosystem changes, the weather changes, the food chain is a combat to chase. Some can’t even reproduce due to hereditary or physical causes. Energy is as important as living. If plants can make their own food how about the carnivores and the omnivores. Food is a challenge. Structure is sustaining the capacity and ability to hunt and survive. Important and a by-product of obtaining energy.

Why is the net production of ATP from palmitate 106 ATP and not 108 ATP?
MariettaO [177]

Answer:

D. because 2 ATP are lost due to the production of by β oxidation inside a mitochondrion

Explanation:Two ATPs were borrowed from the Nets 4 ATPs produced in glycolysis, for the substrate level phosphorylation in the initial stage of glycolysis for pyruvate productions.

Therefore, the total ATPs would have been 108ATPs, produced as net ATPs, during kerb’s cycle, and oxidative phosphorylation. But because 2ATPs has been spent in substrate phosphorylation then the ATPs produces is 106ATPs
