If 1/3 of the students wanted more fruits and veggies, then that means that 2/3 did not. And of that 2/3, 1/8 of them wanted more seafood. \frac{2}{3} * \frac{1}{8} = \frac{1}{12} This means that 1/12 of all the students surveyed wanted more seafood and 1/3 wanted more fruits and veggies. The least common multiple of 3 and 12 (or the LCD of the two fractions) would be 12.
Multiplying by 12, we figure out that 4 of them would have wanted more fruits and veggies and only 1 lonely kid wanted more seafood.
Final answer : 12

1/3 wanted more fresh fruits, which means the 2/3 did not. Of these 2/3s, 1/8 wanted seafood. 1/8 of 2/3 is 2/24, which is 1/12, meaning the minimum number of people that could have responded is 12.

Consider random samples of size 80 drawn from population A with proportion 0.48 and random samples of size 66 drawn from populat
gogolik [260]

Answer:

Standard error = 0.070

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula for the standard error of the distribution of differences in sample proportions is;

σ_(A - B) = √((p_a^(1 - p_a^)/n_a) + (p_b^(1 - p_b^)/n_b))

We are given;

p_a^ = 0.48

n_a = 80

p_b^ = 0.13

n_b = 66

Thus;

σ_(A - B) = √((0.48(1 - 0.48)/80) + (0.14(1 - 0.13)/66))

σ_(A - B) = √0.00496545455

σ_(A - B) = 0.070

A rectangle has an area of 18 m(2) and a perimeter of 18m what is it’s length and width? (I need to do it by tonight so can you
adoni [48]

Answer: length = 6 and breadth = 3.

Step-by-step explanation:

For perimeter,

2(l+b) = 18

For area,

l*b = 18

Solve these equation and you'll get answer.

The following data set represents the salaries of all seven employees at a small start-up company (expressed in thousands of dol
bogdanovich [222]

Answer:

9.96

Step-by-step explanation:

If the data set represents the salaries of all seven employees at a small start-up company (expressed in thousands of dollars). 23, 25, 40, 45, 45, 23, 23 in thousands dollars with variance of 99.14, to get the standard deviation, the formula below will be applicable.

Variance = (standard deviation)²

substituting Variance = 99.14 into the equation we wil have;

99.14 = (standard deviation)²

taking the square root of both sides;

√99.14 = √(standard deviation)²

standard deviation = √99.14

standard deviation = 9.96

The standard deviation of the set of datas is 9.96
