The financial crisis was primarily caused by deregulation in the financial industry. That permitted banks to engage in hedge fund trading with derivatives. Banks then demanded more mortgages to support the profitable sale of these derivatives. ... That created the financial crisis that led to the Great Recession.

Troy Movie Questions
s344n2d4d5 [400]

Answer:

PART 1:

Agamemnon’s main focus is power and Achilles is the one person that can help him with this the most. However, why is it that Achilles and Agamemnon hate each other throughout the whole film? ( List examples from the film)

 • Achilles and Agamemnon suffered a break in the story of the trojan war because Achilles was stripped of his one true love by Agmemnon's selfishness. Achilles then left the war for over 10 years and not until Agamemnon offered a series of gifts did Achilles return.

How much faith do the people of Troy put into the gods? Is this a strength or a weakness? Explain.

 • The people of troy put full faith into the Gods. They believed that with the power of the gods, food would come, water would come, and the trojans would win the war. However, this was not the case. The trojans didnt recieve all the blessings of which they intended and in the end, troy was sacked.

Explain and analyze the weapons, armor, and military tactics used in the movie Troy. Give examples from the film.

 • Since the trojan war took place in circa 2500 BCE, the war had a series of weapons only in tact with the age of the time. Swords, arrows, fire, and oddly a fake horse were the most common of weapons. Swords and arrows are self explanitory. Fire was used as a power of siege by the greeks. The horse carcus was used as the final strategy by the greeks to sack troy, the greeks won.

PART 2:

How important is Achilles to the Greek army? List examples from the film.

 • Achilles is essentially the only reason the greeks won the Greek-Trojan War. Achilles was the greatest warrior in all of the land and was literally a son of the gods. Achilles served as the main fighter in all of greece and was the key to winning the war. When Achilles had abandoned the greeks after agmemnon took away his one true love, the greek army failed for years. Immediatly upon Achilles return, the greeks became the winning power again.

What are Achilles strengths? What is Achilles weakness? Is there any irony in how the film ends? Think about it and remember his name!

 • Achilles was the greatest warrior to ever exist. His only weakness was his ankle where if he was struck, he would fail. This spot is known as the achilles tendon on your leg/foot. I have not seen the film so i cannot answer the irony part.
