Answer: Americans tend to stand much closer to each other than do people from most other countries

Explanation:

In large auditoriums people tend to seat or stand close to each other, so they don't look isolated from others.

In a confined space like a lift, the occupants try to give the next individual some space to avoid too much closeness.

People living in suburban areas most times love to have a little feel nature, so they normally have open fields and some times streams around their homes.

It is not true that only Americans stand very close to each other.

Hello!

Have you ever been on a sailboat before. it is the most relaxing way to spend a sunny day, i love being on the open water. my parents boat is brand new, and we love sailing down the river and enjoying the beautiful sunshine. our favorite place too sail is on kaotenay lake because you get to see lots of different wildlife along the way!

Explanation:

Errors in the paragraph explanation.

Since the first sentence is a question, there should be a ? after before.

It should be capitalized.

i, should be I.

My should be capitalized since it starts a sentence.

Our should be capitalized since it starts a sentence.

To, not too. Too is for sentences like, "<em>Have you been here, too?</em>"

Kaotenay Lake should be capitalized because it is the title of a lake.

I know you only said 5 errors, but I found more, sorry.

Hope this helps.

(The last one with the lake, I'm not so sure, but hope the others helped!)

Which excerpt from The Great Fire best supports the theme that there was a sense of hope that the city would rebuild after the f
earnstyle [38]

“Alfred Sewell ended his discussion of Chicago with a stirring prediction: ‘The city will nevertheless rise again, nay, is already rising, like the Phoenix, from her ashes. And she will, we believe, be a better city as well as a greater one, than she was before her disaster.’”

This is the best option because it gives the feeling of hope. The image of the Phoenix rising out of the ashes is meant to show that Chicago will once rise again. It will come back and be even better. The quote says that the city will "rise again" and "is already rising". Two of the other options only speak of the devastation of the fire. The option about the workers tells about the demand for laborers but it doesn't necessarily evoke a sense of hope in rebuilding.
