lts. Currently, Mikhail’s is making 80 carpets and 80 quilts per month while Dominique’s is making 60 carpets and 100 quilts. If from now on Mikhail’s starts making nothing but carpets and Dominique’s makes nothing but quilts, and the two shops trade 90 quilts from Dominique’s for 70 carpets from Mikhail’s every month, what will be each shop’s gain from trade? Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Mikhail’s Furnishings: 160 carpets or 160 quilts

Dominique’s Parlor:  120 carpets or 200 quilts

Current production per month

Mikhail’s: 80 carpets and 80 quilts

Dominique’s: 60 carpets and 100 quilts

Post-trade

Mikhail’s: produces 160 carpets

Dominique’s: produces 200 quilts

They trade 90 quilts for 70 carpets so at the end of trade they will have items as follows

Mikhail’s carpets will reduce from 160-70=90 carpets but have additional 70 quilts

Dominique’s quilts will reduce from 200-90=110 but have additional carpets of 70

Gains from trade

Comparing outcome of post-trade with current production

Mikhail’s Furnishings: 90 carpets-80 carpets=10 carpets

                                  90 quilts-80 quilts=10 quilts

Dominique’s Parlor: 70 carpets -60 carpets=10 carpets

                                110  quilts-100 quilts=10 quilts

Eduardo is painting a rectangular wall that is 96 inches high and 110 inches long. What is the area of the wall?
EastWind [94]

Required Answer:-

Here the height and length are the sides of the rectangular wall and we have to find the area.

Area of rectangle is given by:

= l \times b

where l is the length and b is the breadth/width according to the question. Plugging the given values:

= 110 \times 96 \:  {inch}^{2}

= 10560 \:  {inch}^{2}

Hence:-

The area of the wall is 10560 inch²

Simplify this expression 3x^2 y^2/24x
maksim [4K]
The answer would be (1/8) (xy ^ 2).
Equation:
3x ^ 2 y ^ 2 / 24x

=(3/24) (x ^ 2 y ^ 2 / x)
SO simplify it is
= (1/8) (xy ^ 2)

The simplified expression for this case is given by:

(1/8) (xy ^ 2)

90+55+x=180 (Angles inside a triangle equal 180 degrees) Solve for x
x = 35 degrees

2nd
2 non-adjacent angle in a triangle is equal to the exterior angles, therefore

25 + x + 15 = 3x + 10    Solve for x
  40 + x = 3x + 10
-10   -1x  -1x  -10

30 = 2x
     2

x = 15 degrees
Therefore angle ABC is x + 15 where x + 15

Therefore angle ABC = 30 degrees

Who ever hand wrote in those degrees/equations didn't really think it out because < A + <B should be greater than 90 not less than 90

Jessica is purchasing a new car whose MSRP is $19,750. She is trading in her old car for $8100.

Without the upgrade package and delivery charge , the cost of her car is

19,750 - 8100 = $11650

upgraded cost = $6000 and Vehicle delivery = $600. we add the upgraded cost and delivery cost.

Total cost of car = 11650 + 6000 + 600 = $18,250
